Enamel paint No. 2 Emerald - Gloss 50 ml Humbrol AQ0002 Humbrol has been the standard for modeling for decades. Originally produced in a small palette of colors for painting bicycle frames, it is now available in over 80 colors and is ideal for modelers who want to see a high quality and durable finish on their creations. Humbrol enamels can also be used for a wide range of arts and crafts, on many surfaces, and as a touch-up or surface paint for home and DIY applications. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Large jars of 50 ml for more work. Also available in smaller 14ml cans for smaller jobs. Application: Quick drying solvent based paint designed for use on plastic models but can also be used on other substrates. Matt, Gloss, Satin, Metallic, Metalcote finishes are available (the finish depends on the color). Matt, Gloss and Satin transparent lacquers are also available. Substrate: A wide variety of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramic, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard, etc. Always try on a small test area first to check fit. Coverage: 14ml tin lids approx. 0.3 m² depending on the application thickness. Application: with a brush straight from the can. Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin layers are better than one thick one. The usual dilution ratio is 2 parts paint to 1 part solvent. Note. Metalcote colors are intended for polishing after complete drying. Drying time: Gloss: 1-2 hours to the touch; up to 24 hours for hard drying. Matt & Satin: 20-40 minutes drying to the touch; up to 24 hours for hard drying. Metallic: hard dry approx. 10 days. The drying time depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment. Repeat layer: minimum 6 hours (recommended to leave overnight). How to clean: Brushes: use Humbrol enamel thinner.
