Mr.Surfacer - a series of the highest quality primers / liquid putties for polystyrene models.
Due to the use of high-quality components, the resulting coating is extremely thin, strong and mechanically stable.
When used correctly, it is impossible to fill even the most complex details of models, such as rivets or delicate dividing lines. Mr.Surfacer:
- improves adhesion and correct distribution of modeling paints applied to it,
- highlights and allows you to correct small defects or deficiencies that occur at the stage of gluing or polishing the model,
- during any grinding, it is sprayed like a putty and allows you to accurately correct errors,
- If necessary, after the correction stage, you can apply another layer of the preparation on previously polished elements. Surfacers numerical values indicate the grain size of the substrate.
The higher the number (500->1000->1200->1500), the finer the grain and the smoother the final finish.
The smaller the value (1500->1200->1000->500), the thicker the grains and the better the filling properties. Application method:
We recommend applying the drug by spraying with an airbrush.
When painting with an airbrush, dilute it with Mr.Color Leveling Thinner in a ratio of 1:2-3 (Mr.Surfacer: solvent).
Distribute evenly "wet" over the entire surface of the model. After drying, the drug will significantly reduce its volume, emphasizing all the finest details of the model.
After several tens of minutes, it is suitable for mechanical processing or application of subsequent layers. This time can be extended with high humidity or low temperature.
