Stone Paving Textured Roller / Roman Pavement Green Stuff World 1675 Stone Pavement Textured Roller / Roman Pavement Textured rollers for applying and forming all types of putty. clay and paste. Made of transparent non-stick PMMA plastic. Not toxic. Length: 14'50 cm (5.5 inches) Diameter: 2'5 cm (1 inch) Stone size: 6x2.5 mm mm USING: Mix the putty/sculpting clay properly until ready to use according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Apply putty/clay to the surface to be textured. For best results, level and smooth the surface properly before applying the rollers. ***It is recommended to use a smooth roller for this. Depending on the type of material to be used, it may be advisable to wet the roller to prevent it from sticking. Roll slowly, pressing evenly on all points to get a similar texture. Trim off excess putty/clay. It is recommended to do this after the putty/clay has dried. MATERIALS: There are countless putties and clays on the market, and they can all be textured using the right technique. In general, polymer clays (type Super Sculpey Beige) are quite easy to work with these rollers and make it easy to correct mistakes because they don't dry out until they are baked. If the goal is to create textured bases, we recommend using wooden MDF bases as you can directly texture the clay on the MDF base and then put everything in the oven, including the base. Clay firing time is 15 minutes at 150ºC. MDF will leave a toast-like smell, but will not burn. In the case of epoxy putties, there are more differences and more methods of achieving similar results. The good thing is that they do not need to be baked and can be applied directly to plastic materials. In the case of greens that are particularly sticky, you will need to wet the rollers with a little water. You can also reduce the adhesion of this putty by applying talcum powder or for best results some modeling petroleum jelly ( LINK ). Other epoxy putties such as Milliput putty are also suitable, but we recommend not to wet as it makes your job more difficult. On the other hand, if the mixture is too sticky, it is better to keep kneading until the stickiness decreases. *** For this type of putty, it is very important to properly clean the rollers after use. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: After you finish working with the rollers, if there are any traces of material left on the picture, clean them with brushes (LINK ) with plenty of water. SECURITY: These videos are tools that should not be used by minors without adult supervision.
