The Airbus A380 (also known as the Super-Jumbo) is a double-decker airliner with four engines. Developed in close cooperation with major airlines, airports and aviation authorities, it is the most modern, spacious and efficient passenger airliner ever created. The A380 project was launched in December 2000, and the finished aircraft entered service in early 2006, setting new standards in the field of air transportation. A380 is the world's largest commercial airliner. The size of the production workshop where it is produced has broken world records.
