Shelby Cobra (otherwise known as AC Cobra or AC Cobra 427) is a British-American sports roadster that was first introduced to the public in 1961. This serial production took place from 1962 to 1967 and took place in two places: Los Angeles. in the USA and Thames Ditton in the UK. Shelby Cobra was created as a result of a collaboration between the British car manufacturer AC Cars and the American designer Carroll Shelby. The car contains a lot of ready-made components, just like they were on the market at that time. First of all, the basis for the new car was the changes and modernizations of the AC Ace car body. The heart of the car was powerful Ford engines with a volume of 4.3 to 7 liters, and the differential was similar to that of the Jaguar E-type. In 1965, a modernized version was launched (designated: AC Cobra 427), which featured a 425 hp engine, a rebuilt body and the entire suspension system. The Shelby Cobra also successfully took part in car racing, even winning the Le Mans race against its class in 1964.
