Aston Martin DB5 is a British sports car, first presented to the public in 1963. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted only until 1965 - during this time only 1063 copies of this car were produced. The DB5 was designed and put into production to complement Aston Martin's commercial offering and replace the DB4, although it was based on many of its components. Compared to its predecessor, it differed significantly in body style, which became more streamlined and had a positive effect on the car's aerodynamic properties. Significant changes also took place under the hood, as a new power unit was used, which, as before, was a 6-cylinder, but had a much larger maximum power and working volume. This contributed to the improvement of the characteristics of the car. The Aston Martin DB5 has become almost a cult car thanks to its frequent "appearances" in films with the participation of James Bond. He appeared on the screen in such films as Goldfinger or Operation Thunder.
