Porsche 356 is the first car from the famous German company Porsche. Fast and easy to drive - the two-door Porsche 356 was a rear-wheel drive, rear-engined sports car, made in two configurations - with a hard or folding top. Innovative developments continued for years, contributing to success in motorsport and the growing popularity of the brand. Production began in 1948 in Gmünd, Austria, where around 50 cars were produced. In 1950, the factory was moved to Stuttgart, Germany; mass production of the 356 continued until April 1965, when it was replaced by the 911, introduced in the fall of 1963. According to rough estimates, about half of the 76,313 Porsche 356 cars produced now remain. At different times, four-cylinder opposed gasoline engines with a volume of 1.1 to 2.0 liters and a capacity of 40 to 130 hp were installed on the car.
