BMPT "Terminator" is a modern Russian tank support combat vehicle. The first prototypes of the car were developed in the late 1990s, and small-scale production started in 2006 and continues with some interruptions until now. The drive is provided by one W92S2 engine with a capacity of 1000 hp. The vehicle is armed with: 2 30-mm automatic cannons 2A42, 2 40-mm automatic grenade launchers AGS-17, 4 rocket-propelled grenade launchers 9M120-1 and one PC/PKS machine gun. caliber 7.62 mm. BMPT "Terminator" was created on the basis of the experience gained by the Russian army during the Chechen wars, and its main task is the elimination of manpower near active tanks and its own infantry. This task determined the armament of the machine and its maximum possible booking using elements of dynamic protection. The chassis of the T-72 tank was used to shorten the period of analytical and implementation work, as well as to facilitate further operation. In addition, BMPT "Terminator" is equipped with a relatively modern fire control system and surveillance devices. Most likely, the "Terminator" armored personnel carrier was used in combat operations during the civil war in Syria, which has been ongoing since 2011. Currently, cars of this type are operated in Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as by an expected customer in Algeria.
