Jagdtiger is a German heavy tank destroyer of World War II. The first prototypes of the machine were produced in 1943, and serial production continued in the period 1944-1945, ending with the release of only 88 machines. The Jagdtiger was equipped with a Maybach HL 230 P30 single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 700 hp. Its main armament was a powerful 128 mm PaK 44 L/55 gun and one 7.92 mm MG34 or MG 42 machine gun. "Yagdtiger" was created at the Henschel plant in connection with the order of the Imperial Armaments Administration in August 1943 for a machine that could be armed with a new 128-mm gun. The new machine was based on a modified chassis of the Pzkpfw VI Ausf tank. B (Tiger II). As a result, the heaviest armored vehicle of the Second World War was created, weighing as much as 75 tons, with weapons capable of destroying enemy tanks at distances of up to 3500-4000 meters, and well armored. At the same time, it was characterized by terrible maneuverability, a very low top speed, a probably too weak engine and a high susceptibility to malfunctions - especially gearboxes. Yagdtigr tank destroyers served from September 1944 as part of two heavy tank destroyer divisions, 512 and 653, fighting mainly on the Western Front. Glue and paints are not included in the set
