Prefab model 1/35 Heavy Truck KRAZ-260 Takom 2016 KrAZ-260 is a Soviet (Ukrainian) military truck of the Cold War period. The first copies of this car appeared in the second half of the 1970s, and serial production was carried out in 1973-1993. The drive is provided by one 8-cylinder engine. YaMZ-238L with a capacity of 300 liters. The KrAZ-260 was developed at the Soviet (now Ukrainian) AvtoKraz factories as a development of the KrAZ-255 car. Several changes were made from the original, including a new, more powerful engine, a different gearbox, and improved performance, especially top speed. However, the carrying capacity of the machine was increased the most (from 7.5 to 9 tons). KrAZ-260, like its predecessor, has a good carrying capacity and high mobility even in rough terrain thanks to all-wheel drive. It is mainly used for transporting people and goods. Its current operators are mainly Ukraine, as well as Greece and Serbia. In the past, the KRAZ-260 was also used by the armed forces of Egypt and India.
