Assembly model 1/35 Gepard A1/A2 anti-aircraft self-propelled gun 2 in 1 limited edition Takom 2044x Flakpanzer Gepard is a German anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery installation based on the Leopard 1 tank, on which an artillery unit based on two 35 mm Oerlikon KDA guns is installed. The model allows you to reproduce FlakPz Gepard in versions A1 and A2: - FlakPz Gepard A1 — a modification with a laser rangefinder; - FlakPz Gepard A2 — modernized in 1996-2000 A1 variant with a digital fire control system, improved communication systems and the possibility of using new FAPDS projectiles. In April 2022, the German government decided to transfer 50 FlakPz Gepard 1A2 from Bundeswehr warehouses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of 2022. As of September 2022, 24 vehicles had already been transferred to the Armed Forces and were actively used in combat operations. The Gepard A2 in the ranks of the Armed Forces has proven to be an extremely effective means of destroying enemy low-flying targets, such as cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and, especially, against Shahed 136 type barrage munitions. The model from Takom is a limited reissue of the Takom 2044 set with an additional decal (Army crosses). Like other modern models, Takom has an excellent level of detail and high quality casting. Features of the set: - individual recruiting work tracks; - steel cable to simulate a towing cable; - a frame with transparent parts to simulate optical devices; - a basic set of parts from photoetching; - six marking options.
