In 1939-1940, about 500 Do 17Z-1 and Do 17Z-2 bombers were produced. They took part in all Luftwaffe operations of 1939-1941 - as part of Polish and French companies, in the Battle of Britain, as well as in the Balkans and on the Eastern Front.
