Assembled model 1/48 aircraft Fouga CM.170 Magister AMK 88004 Scale: 1/48 Weight: 540 grams Material from Wikipedia CM-170 Fouga Magister (fr. Fouga CM-170 Magister; fr. Aérospatiale (Fouga) CM.170 Magister) is a two-seater jet training aircraft designed in France, the main purpose of which was force training). The plane is capable of developing a speed of up to 715 km/h, its ceiling (limiting flight height) is 12 km, and the practical flight range is up to 1200 km [1] . It became the world's second jet training aircraft - the first such aircraft was the Dutch "Fokker S.14 Machtrainer", created a year earlier, in 1955. However, the CM-170 Fouga Magister was a successful Machtrainer — a total of 929 Fouga Magisters [2] and only 21 Fokker Machtrainers were built. The aircraft was delivered for export and, soon after being launched in series in France, began to be produced under license in Germany, Israel and Finland [1] [2] [3]. The Fouga CM.175 Zéphyr ru en was modified for the French Navy [3]. The aircraft had several names: "Fouga CM.170 Magister", "Potez (Fouga) CM.170 Magister", "Sud Aviation (Fouga) CM.170 Magister" and "Aérospatiale (Fouga) CM.170 Magister" - depending on the date and localization of production, as well as as a result of several mergers of the Fouga company [4] . Although the Fouga Magister was created as a training aircraft, it was used many times as a fire support aircraft (light attack aircraft). Fouga Magister aircraft were heavily used in the Six Day War [5] [6] , the El Salvadoran Civil War [3] , the Western Sahara War [1] and the Congo Crisis [2] [7] [8]
