Ju 88C-6 In the early 1930s, the idea of ​​a high-speed bomber that could outrun modern fighters appeared in the world. One of the objectifications of this concept was the Ju 88 twin-engine bomber, developed by the German company Junkers Flugzeug – und Motorenwerke AG. From the spring of 1941, Ju 88A-4 aircraft were produced with Jumo 211J liquid-cooled engines of increased power and more powerful weapons. The Ju 88C-6 was a 1942 version of the A-4 fighter and featured a single MG FF gun with three MG 17 machine guns in the opaque nose and two MG FF in the central nacelle. These aircraft were used as heavy fighters over the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, as well as on the Eastern Front in 1942-1943.
