Assembled model 1/72 76-mm divisional gun of the 1936 model F-22 ACE 72572 F-22 76-mm gun model 1936. was a semi-universal gun (that is, a weapon that combines the qualities of a divisional and partially anti-aircraft gun). Hundreds of F-22s became trophies of the German, Finnish and Romanian armies. In Germany, F-22s were upgraded and used as anti-tank guns (both towed and self-propelled versions). The F-22 gun is a Soviet 76-mm divisional weapon created in 1936 by the design team under the leadership of V. G. Grabin. The gun was created within the framework of the concept of "anti-aircraft divisional" weapons and justified itself, it was serially produced from 1936 to 1939. After the beginning of the Second World War, a large number of F-22s went to the German army as trophies, after modernization, the guns were used by the Germans until the end The set includes: ♦ plastic parts; ♦ photo etching; ♦ assembly instructions and painting recommendations. Features of the ACE 72572 set scale: 1:72 length: 99 mm difficulty of assembly: difficult glue and paints included: no material: plastic Country of manufacture: Ukraine The F-22 is a Soviet divisional 76.2 mm towed gun of the interwar period and World War II. The initial speed of the projectile from this gun was up to 706 m/s, the maximum firing range was about 13,600 meters. The rate of fire of weapons with a well-trained crew reached 10-12 shots per minute. Serial production was carried out in 1936-1939 and led to the creation of about 2950 units of this weapon. Design work on the F-22 began in 1934 and was aimed at creating a successor to the wz.1902/30 gun. It was also assumed that it is quite risky that the new gun will be truly universal and will also be able to provide anti-aircraft cover for its own troops. Vasyl Grabin was the designer of the weapon. In the process of operation, it turned out that the ability to fight air targets is close to zero, and the weapon has a complex design of the frontal part, which, moreover, was heavy and reduced the maneuverability of the weapon in field conditions. For these reasons, the design was simplified and a modernized version called the F-22 USW was put into production. F-22 guns took part in battles on Lake Charan (1938) and on the Khalchyn Gol River (1939). They were also used extensively during World War II as infantry support and anti-tank weapons. Also, the Germans and Finns used trophy specimens of this weapon mainly in the latter role.
