The E-75 was an experimental German heavy tank of World War II that never went into mass production. It was probably armed with an 88 mm KwK 43 L / 71 or L / 100 or 105 mm long-range gun and 1 or 2 MG34 cal machine guns. 7.92 mm. The design of the E-75 tank was initiated as part of the Entwicklungsserie program, that is, the program for the development of German armored vehicles, which was supposed to lead to the creation of a standardized design of a series of six combat vehicles of different weights, but using as many common components as possible. Analytical and conceptual work on this program began in mid-1943. The E-75 tank in this project was supposed to become a new heavy tank of the German army, in which special emphasis was placed on the thickest armor and the maximum possible ability to fight enemy armored vehicles. Most likely, the machine was to use a properly repaired and redesigned Schmallturm turret and, most likely, the Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger II body and chassis that it was to eventually replace in the lineup.
