A -37A (Cessna Model 318D) - the first model with two J-85-GE-5 turbojet engines, which entered service in 1966. In total, 39 machines were converted from T-37 training aircraft. It was used during the Vietnam War, the pilots noted the machine's vulnerability to fire from the ground, but in general, the results of its use were rated very highly by the US Air Force. The trophy South Vietnamese A-37A was highly rated by Soviet specialists.
A -37B (Cessna Model 318E) - the second model, which entered service in May 1968, with two J-85-GE-17A engines and increased protection, as well as an air refueling system. A total of 577 cars were produced until 1975.
