ZIL-131
Military truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serial production of the ZIL-131 all-wheel drive car began at the end of the 1960s, in 1986 a modernized version appeared - the ZIL-131N. The truck was distinguished by high reliability and excellent cross-country ability. The basic ZIL-131 model was intended primarily for the transportation of personnel or cargo weighing up to 5 tons. At one time, it was the most common army four-wheel drive truck, and it was also delivered to various countries around the world. From 1967 to 1990, almost 1,000,000 such cars were produced. A significant volume of production was occupied by chassis for installation of various special army equipment. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, cars continued to serve in the armies of the CIS countries and the world. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation of these reliable four-wheel drive trucks continues even now.
