Assembled model 1:72 SAU 40/43M Zrinyi II Hungarian 105mm Assault Gun with sideskirts IBG Models 72052

The 44M Zrinyi I and 43M Zrinyi II were Hungarian assault guns based on the Turan tank chassis. The 44M version was armed with a rapid-fire 75 mm gun and was intended to act as a tank destroyer. Prototype testing revealed some problems with the gun, which led to a very long development period. Serial production was planned for mid-1944 but never began due to the Soviet occupation. The 43M Zrinyi II was an assault howitzer armed with a 105 mm gun. Its production began in 1943, and 66 vehicles were produced before the Soviet occupation began.
