PzKpfw VI Ausf. B Tiger II or colloquially Konigstiger (Polish Royal Tiger) is a German heavy tank of the Second World War. The first prototypes of the car were built in 1943, and serial production continued in 1944-1945, ending with the release of 487 cars. The Tiger II was equipped with one Maybach HL 230 P30 engine with a capacity of 700 hp. It was armed with 1 88 mm PaK 43 L / 71 cannon and 2 7.92 mm MG34 machine guns. PzKpfw VI Ausf. The B Tiger II was created in connection with Albert Speer's commission in January 1943 to the Henschel and Porsche factories to develop a new heavy tank for the German armed forces. The first prototypes were ready by October of this year, and the machine developed by Henschel entered mass production, 50 units of the new tank had a Porsche tower (the so-called Porsche tower). The "Tsarsky Tiger" had an excellent anti-tank gun, capable of destroying any Red Army and Allied armored vehicles of the time at a distance of 1500-2000 m. It was also very well armored, and its armor was carefully thought out. In fact, the new German tank was out of reach of most enemy vehicles at distances of more than 1000-1200 m. Undoubtedly, the Tiger II had many disadvantages: firstly, the engine was clearly too weak, which was the same as the Tiger I, which was 11 tons lighter. Paint and glue are not included in the set.
