Assembly model 1:72 truck GERMAN CARGO TRUCK (Early & Late) Academy 13404

German trucks (Early & Late WWII German Cargo Trucks) were the vital "backbone" of Wehrmacht logistics throughout World War II, transporting troops, ammunition, fuel and other vital supplies.

"Early" models (start of the war to ~1942-1943): Often adapted commercial trucks, such as the Opel Blitz 3-ton or Mercedes-Benz L3000. They were mostly rear-wheel drive and designed for European road conditions.

"Late" models (from ~1943 to the end of the war): In response to the worsening conditions on the front, especially in the East, more all-wheel drive (4x4 or 6x4) variants appeared, such as the Mercedes-Benz L4500A, as well as simplified versions of existing models. These machines often had a less complex design and were optimized to speed up production and save resources.
