Assembly model 1:35 tank destroyer Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.F (VK18.01)-Early Hobby Boss 83807

The Panzerjäger 35R was a German tank destroyer of World War II. The vehicle was about 4.3 meters long and weighed 11 tons. It was powered by a single 4-cylinder Renault 447 engine with a capacity of 82 hp. Armament consisted of a single 47 mm PaK36 (t) gun or, less commonly, a 50 mm PaK38 gun. The maximum speed was 19–20 km/h. The Panzerjäger 35R was developed by Alkett as a far-reaching modernization of captured French Renault R-35 tanks, and the entire design was influenced by the Panzerjäger I. An armored hull with main armament was installed. Due to the relatively low speed, vehicles of this type were intended mainly for infantry units. Most of the vehicles produced served in France. They were most likely used to repel the Dieppe attack in 1942 and certainly during the fighting in Normandy in 1944. The lion's share of them were lost there between June and August 1944.
